The event took place at the temporary Parliament building located in Singha Durbar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The oath was administered by the senior-most member of the House, Arjun Narsingh KC, in accordance with constitutional provisions. The ceremony marks the formal beginning of the lawmakers\u2019 parliamentary responsibilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the Parliament Secretariat, 63 lawmakers chose to take their oath in their native languages rather than Nepali, reflecting the country\u2019s rich linguistic diversity. Many lawmakers also attended the ceremony in traditional attire representing their cultural backgrounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Due to the ongoing construction of the new Parliament building, the ceremony was conducted in a temporary structure.
